What a great night out in Redditch. Singing and dancing in the aisle (even the theatre staff joined in). And, yes… I knew all the words, as did virtually all of the audience. Interesting storytelling. Fantastic musicians. Jimi Hendrix’s Purple Hazel was a brilliant surprise. Really enjoyed ourselves and woken up with a sore throat this morning. Definitely, a go, see, relive and enjoy your teenage year’s gig. Loved it

Last night’s performance at the Palace Theatre by the incredible Monkees Tale show is far more than a tribute show, it is a performance that captures the very essence of the Monkees from the 60s, it is a roller coaster ride of hit after hit performed with outstanding vocals and storytelling, the guys are great musicians but I mention Jody Page/ Micky outstanding drummer,  go and see this show guys it was Magic.

Having been a Monkees fan for over 25 years, I was very curious to see the band at the Camberley Theatre and was very impressed. They not only played the big hits but even songs from the recent album “Good Times” and their impersonation of Jimi Hendrix a lovely suprise. “Davy” singing the vocals for both Davy and Micky was very impressive, as he was able to change his vocals between them without any problems.

Loved taking ourselves back to our teens and also just how the Monkees came about
Great Music..with songs we had forgotten about but as soon as they started singing ..the words came back and we sang along

Fantastic performance, fabulous, awesome, sensational, brilliant, a story from start to finish told with the Monkee’s music beautifully, with humour too,
sensational performance by all, loved every second of the show, just a lovely night.

5 Stars rating is not enough for these Monkees with their tales! How about a million Star Rating? I hope they come back to the Palace!

Every UK Theatre in my view should book this tribute show, it’s a show with love, warmth & a sensational tribute to the original Monkees!

OK, I’ll admit I checked YouTube before booking, but I needn’t have feared. I was 9 when the Monkees came to prominence. I loved the music and TV shows. Tonight 4 talented guys and support from keys player and narrator faithfully recreated the music and characters of nearly 60 years ago. Awesome is possibly the best description. A great set and it was genius to throw in a Hendrix and Archies cover. All part of the story!

They deserved the standing ovation for Daydream Believer. Two other of my favourites, Alternate Title and Pleasant Valley Sunday were also particularly noteworthy.
Will catch you again I hope, and it was great to have a chat with you as you ran to the front of house, past me! Old git in mask.🙂

What a brilliant show had by all, bought back fantastic memories, special gift for my cousins 70th, a huge fan of the monkees. All the guys are so talented, their voices were just brilliant. Such a brilliant performance by Davy, his dancing, singing, just perfect. Well done guys ❤️

Went to the palace theatre Tonight and saw an amazing show featuring the music of the Monkees. What can I say the guys were very good musicians bang on vocals playing the songs in an authentic way. Each song was delivered with passion and respect for the original band and material. The show was very enjoyable and the story of the group was interesting informative and fun. A great night out fantastic music and show would definitely recommend it. Well done guy fantastic 👍👍👍.
