A fun show with great renditions of Monkees songs – both old and new

I saw the show on Friday 23rd September 2022 at The Marina Theatre in Lowestoft. It was very enjoyable!

It was a nice venue and the staff were very welcoming.

I should caveat at the start that I am a massive Monkees fan and whilst this meant that I knew the aspects of the narrator’s story, it was still good to hear and see about these and bring them to perhaps a new audience.

The guys playing the Monkees (plus Adam on keyboards) were all great and obviously accomplished musicians. They played a large and wide range from the Monkees’ music catalogue with all the favourites you would expect along with some of the more recent material.

I think as the tour progresses they will be even better and am booking to go and see them again in a couple of months.

The audience all seemed to really enjoy the show, as did I. I encourage you all to go and see this!
